Biography of CCP Principal and Founder Thomas H. Kieren Thomas H. Kieren is the lead photographer and founder of the Firm, Custom Corporate Photography, known affectionately as CCP. He practices architectural and interiors photography and thereby photographs the exteriors and interiors of new and remodeled private and publicly owned luxury residences, office buildings and factories, hotels, banks, laboratories, educational and cultural institutions, religious structures, landscapes and specific architectural and building materials products. He performs both engagement photography as well as administering stock sales from the Firm's inventory of pre existing images. He also functions as the regional architectural, interiors, and executive portraiture photographer for the Wall Street Journal . Mr. Kieren‘s clients include architects, designers, construction companies, chambers of commerce, advertising and public relations agencies, real estate developers, trade publications, country and city city club managers, and corporations - all of whom desire to promote an individual or company‘s competence in design, construction, landscape, product development or product installations. More specifically, this work is done for the purpose of assisting clients in competing for awards in a variety of competitions, for their portfolios and websites, for editorial purposes, and for the inclusion of photography of their work in their proposals as part of their marketing and sales efforts. Tom's media images have appeared in such publications as Architectural Digest, Architectural Record, Elle Décor, Design NJ, Dupont Registry, the New York Times Magazine, the Wall Street Journal, the Buyer's Guide to Fine Homes, the New Jersey Monthly, Leading Estates of the World, Interiors New Jersey, Women's Wear Daily, in addition to numerous corporate and institutional publications, Annual Reports and websites. His work is currently being featured in a recently released publication by the American Institute of Architects entitled, "Commissioning Architectural Photography: Best Practices in Working With a Professional Photographer”. He is currently working on a book highlighting his work in architectural, interiors and executive portraiture, developed since he began an interest in photography as far back as High School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Prior to his work in architectural and interiors photography, Tom has photographed a vast array of Wall Street executives as well as corporate leaders, media and sports personalities throughout the United States. Tom was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and has worked and lived in Chicago, Columbus, Great Neck, New York City as well as the Wayne and Jefferson Townships in New Jersey where he currently lives. His formal education took place at Holy Cross College, Harvard University, the University of Chicago, the International Center for Photography, and a variety of photography workshops. Including his employment at Bell & Howell, W.A. Krueger Company, and GAF Corporation, Mr. Kieren has been involved in photography since 1968. CCP was founded in 1973. Tom is a member of the American Society of Media Photographers, the American Institute of Architects (Allied), Association of Independent Architectural Photographers, the American Society of Interior Designers (Industry Partner), the National Association of Photoshop Professionals, The Art Directors Club, and the New Jersey Business and Industry Association.
