Photographic Facilities Our facility in Oak Ridge, N.J. includes a studio location for photographing products in the categories as noted above, although most of our work is done “on location” for clients who want a “real world”, “environmental” or “life style” look with their product seen in either their showroom or installed in a particular customer location. In the case of product photography, we offer to locate the ideal residence, office facility or other types of locations for a “real world” background and environment, within which the image is developed. This includes stylizing the room or rooms in which the product or products are situated. Photography “shoot” locations are usually found in one or more towns or cities such as Manchester (VT), Greenwich and Stamford (CT), Princeton, Franklin Lakes, and Alpine, New Jersey; New York, Philadelphia, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Chicago, Milwaukee and Chenequa (WI), to name only a few. Obviously, where a “shoot” is located depends on what type of structure or outdoor setting is required and available to meet the client's image requirements and expectations. The office and lab facilities include a variety of digital scanners, printers, hard drives and computers armed with the latest color calibration and touchup software. Of particular note is the latest edition of Photoshop which gets extensive use. Printers are also crucial in that they produce important color-corrected “guide” prints that clients and their printers need, and frequently final enlargements for those who wish to see their color or black and white images in their office or hallway. Tom's associates include other photographers and “assistants” who may accompany him on a particular “shoot” depending on its length, complexity and deadlines required by the client. |
